Compassionate Infusion Services, Inc. was founded in 2015 by Pamela K. McField, BS, RN or Ms. Pam as her patients call her. She is a registered nurse with 19 years of experience, and acquired her nursing skills from a variety of settings before starting Compassionate Infusion Services. Ms. Pam has worked in hospitals, as a traveling nurse, a health facilities evaluator, and with patients for home infusion.
Before becoming a registered nurse, Ms. Pam was a traveling phlebotomist (a person who draws laboratory specimens). She would draw the patients’ labs in their homes because they were not able to get to the hospital. Ms. Pam talked to her patients and provided them with competent and professional nursing care. This experience was the precursor to her nursing career and her passion for infusion therapy.
Her compassion and dedication to the nursing profession led her to play a vital role in assisting patients who receive their infusions at home.
As the number of aging Americans increases and the multilayered setting of patient care in hospitals and clinics changes and grows, infusion nurses will play a vital role in society.
It is our goal to provide our patients with the highest quality of care in a supportive environment and give them A Service With Heart.
